A beginning and an end

Everything that has a beginning has an end..
Maybe..but I haven't seen anything ending actually.
Things transform...n when they turn too ugly we comfort ourselves by playing with the idea that it has ENDED.
Sometimes we drag the corspe of a decaying existence just for the heck of it.

It is necessary to delete an engram to go ahead with life.
Selective memory is the secret of happiness
U don't need to be a masochist to enjoy pain...it has a kind of intoxicating effect..
just like when u get piercings done in ur body..u get addicted...want to go back again to do it..just to go through the pain again

Dunno the chemistry..probably Dopamine released at the synapse does it..

But one day u realise.. Life is not only about pain...life is waiting..calling...spreading her arms n asking u to embrace her...
u want to give the best of urself..u want to dedicate urself to a cause n live for a purpose.
It is when u wake up from a long drawn sleep n want to rise ..go forth

U feel a certain kinship with all living forms of the world and u begin to respect life even more...

Let me be a prick and point out a typo right at the end - should be "respect" instead of "repect". :D

Now that I have finished acting the prick that I am ... there is a lot that I agree with and one thing that I dont however, that one thing is very basic. As usual, you have relied on your allusions to paint powerful images (are you a Bio Student? engram, Dopamine, synapse???). I like the analogy of the corpse. And I agree with the concept of transformation rather than end. But in the true literary sense, transformation is an END in itself since, the object ceases to exist as it was, after the transformation, it takes on a new form. This infact in a lot of ways is the essence of Hinduism and Buddhism .. migration of soul, Nirvana, Moksha, transmigration if you will.

But and a big one at that too, Life is all about pain. Cos only through pain we are congnizant about what lack of pain is and how blissful life is; so much so that pain, too, is blissful. I am no masochist. Life without pain is like living in bangalore where its the same climate through and through, almost like 12 months a year, no seasonal variation. Pain is what adds the tinge of spice to ones life ... one doesnt have to go begging for it ... it just happens and pain is what brings out the best in the person, the resilience, the determination, the ability to withstand .. all largely confused as courage ... but no, courage as a concept is different from being determined or withstanding .. I mean just think about a tall willow tree, or any tree for that matter .. it lacks courage but it does withstand a whole load of shit, it is determined to stand its ground. Pain, is like a catalyst ... though not strictly so, it is quite useless by itself, but when applied to humans, has the ability to bring out the best.

And one can only give life one's best if one has experienced pain earlier and ofcourse learnt from it ...

Everyone wants to have that experience, but very few people r able to relly find that morning, to wake up from long sleep.
