After Making Love to a Woman

Stay.

Not just in body,
But in breath, in touch,
In the quiet whisper of your heartbeat
Pressed against her back.

Don’t vanish into the cool air,
Don’t turn to shadows,
Don’t let the sheets become borders.

Stay.

Trace the curve of her shoulder,
A wandering whisper of fingertips.
Tangle your legs like lazy rivers,

Speak—softly, slowly—
Not with grand confessions,
But with the gentle drizzle of sweetness.
Tell her how her laughter
Feels like spring rain,
How her touch is a memory
You are still savoring.

Look at her—really look.
Let her see that even now,
Even in the quiet,
She is still the pulse beneath your skin.

If she pulls you closer,
Let your bodies fit like a puzzle solved.
If she smiles, smile with her—
A shared joke, a stolen breath.
If she drifts to sleep,
Breathe with her,
Be her safe harbor.

Moments like these are echoes
That linger,
Not just because of the passion,
But because of the peace.

This is where intimacy grows roots,
Not just in the fire,
But in the ash,
In the warmth that stays.

Heartbroken

In shadows cast by love's departing sun,

A heartache blooms where once a fire had spun.

The echoes of your laughter now are gone,

And in this solitude, I'm left undone

A collage of memories unfurls,

Each thread a tear, a sigh, a string of pearls.

In every whispered breeze and starry night,

I find your absence like a silent fight.

Like shards of glass, they gleam,

A reflection of a broken dream.

Yet, through this pain, a fragile strength takes hold,

For in my heart, a story still unfolds.

I'll gather up the pieces, one by one,

And in their jagged edges, see the sun.

Though I'm torn and bruised, I'll rise above,

To find a greater and stronger love.

Though heartache is now my constant friend,

I'll mend my heart and let it love again.

For in the darkest hour, I will find,

That even broken hearts can heal with time.

Solitude

Where is the beauty of solitude

That the hermits talk about?

The virginal maiden of the hills

With her perfumed hair

And light gait

Her charming smile

With a song on her lips.

Solitude for me

Is a grotesque sea creature-

With bloody fangs

And sagging skin

Body covered in blisters and pus

Groaning a dying cry

Haunting me for life.

I keep wishing to learn to love her,

But she scares me.

I keep trying to fill the room

Between her and me

With people who do not care about me.

What is my fear?

That I will learn a little more

about myself in her company

And not like what I discover?
